Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a forensic triage system (500) and method for automated digital evidence classification using structured analytical records and age estimation records. Existing forensic investigations involving large volumes of multimedia evidence rely heavily on manual review procedures that are time-consuming, psychologically burdensome, and ineffective in identifying newly generated or modified unlawful content. Conventional approaches further exhibit limited contextual understanding and dependence on facial visibility for age assessment. The forensic triage system (500) comprises an input unit (502) configured to receive digital evidence, a preprocessing unit (504) configured to generate standardized image representations, a genitalia and nudity detection processing unit (506) configured to generate structured analytical records, an age analysis processing unit (508) configured to generate age estimation records, a decision controller (510) configured to correlate the structured analytical records with the age estimation records to generate evidentiary classification records, a report generation unit (512) configured to generate forensic reports, and an output interface (514) configured to present the forensic reports for evidentiary review.
