The door assembly (501) may further include a foreign particle restriction shutter (103) adjoined to the body outer panel (102). The foreign particle restriction shutter (103) may include a first end (202) configured to adjoin to the wheel arch cladding (106) and a second end (204) configured to adjoin the valence cover (104). Further, the foreign particle restriction shutter (103) may include an intermediate section (206) formed between the first end (202) and the second end (204). Further, the first end (202), the intermediate section (206), and the second end (204) may engage a sealing element (510) adjoining an outer panel (506) and inner panel (504) of a door of a vehicle to restrict ingress and accumulation of foreign particles through the body outer panel (102) of the vehicle.
