Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vehicle (10) comprising a saree guard (50) and a foldable footrest (70) pivotally coupled thereto. An adjuster device (80) is provided to adjustably couple the footrest (70) to the saree guard (50). The adjuster device (80) comprises a spring-loaded pin member (82) configured to selectively engage with distinct openings (72a, 72b, 72c) provided on a pivotal portion (72) of the footrest. This mechanism allows the footrest (70) to be securely locked in an operative position (P1) for passenger use, a retracted position (P2) extending vertically upward to minimize vehicle width for storage and transportation, and an extended position (P3) extending vertically downward to provide additional side coverage for the rear wheel (26). The invention effectively solves vehicle parking space constraints without requiring component disassembly or rework.
