Abstract: The present invention relates to a foot-operated surface cleaning apparatus with brush actuation and liquid dispensing mechanism configured to facilitate cleaning of floors, tiles, grout lines, corners, edges, and other hard surfaces. The apparatus comprises a foot- mountable housing adapted to be secured to a user's foot, a mechanically actuated brush assembly, and a motion-transmission mechanism configured to convert foot-applied force into rotational movement of a cleaning brush for performing scrubbing and cleaning operations. It further comprises a liquid dispensing system including a liquid reservoir, a fluid-conveying arrangement, and a fluid pressurization mechanism operatively associated with the brush actuation system. During operation, force applied by the user's foot is transmitted through the mechanical actuation mechanism to drive the rotating brush while simultaneously generating pressure within the liquid dispensing system to facilitate controlled dispensing of a cleaning liquid onto the cleaning surface and/or the rotating brush. The apparatus additionally includes mobility-support elements configured to facilitate movement across the target surface and may incorporate a replaceable brush assembly for maintenance and adaptability to different cleaning applications. The invention provides a wearable, portable, and non-electrically powered cleaning solution that combines mechanical brush actuation and controlled liquid dispensing in a single integrated apparatus suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial cleaning environments.
