The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a food processing machine (100) configured for removal of spines and glochids from opuntia cladodes (10) through controlled thermal treatment and for preparation of nutritionally balanced livestock feed from processed Opuntia biomass. The food processing machine (100) incorporates thermal spine neutralization, cladode cutting, biomass shredding, moisture detection, supplement dispensing, and feed mixing operations for processing standing opuntia cladodes (10) into livestock feed. The food processing machine (100) comprises a base frame (102), an RGB imaging sensor (112), an infrared spectrometer (114), a pair of thermal conditioning assemblies (118A, 118B), a cutting assembly (140), and a conveyor and shredding assembly (174). The food processing machine (100) is configured for adaptive thermal spine neutralization, sensor-guided operational regulation, synchronized mechanical biomass-processing assemblies, and integrated field-operable feed preparation mechanisms, thereby improving processing precision, operational safety, thermal treatment consistency, biomass handling efficiency, and suitability for agricultural livestock feed preparation applications.
