Abstract: A food items storage assistive device for refrigerators, comprising a cuboidal body 101 developed to be mounted on a tray of a refrigerator, plates are arranged vertically on base of the body 101, a microphone 102 for enabling the user to provide input voice commands regarding engaging the body 101 with the tray, an imaging unit 103 for capturing multiple images of the body 101, an extendable U-shaped members 104 to extend/retract for allowing the user to engage the members 104 with the edges, pop out balls 105 for assisting in smooth movement of the body 101, a moisture sensor synced with the imaging unit 103 for detecting spillage of any liquids on the tray, a flap 106 arranged to expand/contract for covering the stored items, a display panel 107 for displaying parameters regarding number and type of stored items.
