Abstract: A food item serving assistive device, comprising of a rectangular body 101 attached with a pair of handles 102 gripped, circular cavities 103 for allowing the user to place cups/bowls, vertical members 111 are installed on the body 101, a microphone 104 for enabling the user to give voice commands, a iris lid 105 embedded within each of the cavities 103 to close for gripping the cups/bowls in a secured manner, a slider 110 configured underneath the body 101 to translate a weighted block 106 equipped with the slider 110, imaging unit 107 to capture multiple images of the cups/bowls, clamps 108 via a pair of links 109 for gripping the cups/bowl from opposite sides, and iris lids 105 to open, a circular slider 110 configured with each of the links 109, to translate the links 109 in view of allowing one of the clamps 108 to grip the handle.
