Abstract: A flyover traffic and safety management system, comprises a traffic light 101 installed at an entrance of an auxiliary flyover 102 and configured to prevent overload conditions on the flyover 102 and restrict vehicle entry during construction, accident and harsh weather conditions, multiple linear actuators 103 installed at the entrance of the flyover 102 to create a barrier, restricting vehicle entry on the flyover 102, a sensor suite 104 installed at the entrance of the flyover 102 and configured to monitor the real-time traffic and environmental conditions and vehicle parameters, an L-shaped extendable bar 105 installed on the flyover 102 and coupled to a display panel 106 configured to display guidance instructions for directing vehicles through construction zones on the flyover 102, and an imaging unit 107 installed on the flyover 102 to monitor the traffic and pedestrian movement at the entrance and exit sections of the flyover 102.
