MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641127023 A) filed by Bapatla Surendra Babu; and Irukumalli Priyanka on October 25, 2026, for Floor Scraper Insert For Cooking Vessels Driven By Vessel-Referenced Vapour Pressure Of Limited Water Charge.
Inventors include Bapatla Surendra; and Irukumalli Priyanka.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: FLOOR SCRAPER INSERT FOR COOKING VESSELS DRIVEN BY VESSEL-REFERENCED VAPOUR PRESSURE OF LIMITED WATER CHARGE A floor scraper insert (100) rests on the floor of a cooking vessel (150), such as a pressure cooker, without electric power. A rotor (114) carries scraper blades (118) and, ahead of each blade, a sentinel bulb (122) near the floor. Each bulb, a capillary (128) and a diaphragm capsule (130) form a sealed system charged with water and immersed in the vessel; the capsule is referenced to the vessel pressure. When settled food overheats the floor, the saturation pressure in the bulb exceeds the vessel pressure, a snap toggle (134) fires and a pawl (138) indexes the rotor on a stator ratchet (104), scraping the floor. The limited water charge, 0.40 to 0.90 times the capsule swept volume, empties the bulb during each stroke; the vapour condenses in the capsule cooled by the boiling food and the capsule resets. Modelled scorching falls to zero. FIG. 1
