Abstract: A floor cleaning assistive device, comprising a rectangular base 101 having a U-shaped plate 102 attached with base 101 via a primary ball and socket joint, and configured with multiple hinges to curve around an arm of a user for clamping base 101 with arm, a telescopic rod 103 installed on base 101 via a secondary ball and socket joint provided on a dual-axis lead screw mechanism 104 disposed on base 101, the rod 103 having a clamp 105 at an end for holding a broom, for cleaning of floor, an air cushion lined along inner surface of clamp 105, connected with an inflation unit provided on rod 103, to enable gripping of brooms of varying diameters, an imaging unit 106, installed on base 101 to determine location of dust on floor.
