Abstract: A flood barricading device comprises of a frame 101 configured with a platform 102 capable of being sliding over the frame 101 to cover/uncover the entrance of a building, a level sensor arranged with bottom portion of the frame 101 for detecting water level around the frame 101, a motorized slider 103 configured with the platform 102 for translating the platform 102 to cover the entrance in view of preventing water from entering the building, plurality of extendable L-shaped links 104 installed with top portion of the platform 102 to get and engage in a set of holes 105 carved on the platform 102 to prevent undesired sliding of the platform 102, and a proximity sensor installed with the platform 102 for detecting any obstacle in path of the platform 102.
