MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521086038 A) filed by Pandit Deendayal Energy University on September 10, 2025, for Flipping Apparatus For Lightweight Products On Angled Conveyor Systems.

Inventors include Mr. Rathod Kashyap; and Dr. Garlapati Nagababu.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The titled invention discloses a flipping apparatus designed to rotate lightweight products transported through conveyor systems arranged at an angular orientation. The apparatus includes a conveyor system (1) that carries a work piece (2) toward a flipping region positioned between an input conveyor and an output conveyor. A flipping arm (5) engages the work piece (2) and rotates it by approximately 180 degrees to invert the work piece. The flipping arm (5) includes a flip cover that guides and retains the work piece (2) during the flipping operation. The flipping arm (5) is driven by a servo motor (6) secured to the apparatus through a motor mount (7), while an adjustable mount (8) supports the flipping arm assembly and enables alignment with the angular arrangement of the conveyor system (1). After completion of the flipping operation, a solenoid valve unit (4) releases compressed air through an air blowing connection piping (3) to propel the flipped work piece (2) toward the output section of the conveyor system (1). The invention provides a compact mechanism for controlled flipping and smooth transfer of lightweight products in automated production lines. Figure- 2
