Abstract: An electronic reading device features a display housed within a cylindrical body, designed to present digital content with touch-based navigation. The device includes a flexible display screen that can be extended and transitioned to a rigid state using an active rigidity system. It supports various reading directions and includes a biometric eye health monitoring system to detect user fatigue. The device also offers a tri-modal input system for annotation and navigation. Additionally, the screen deployment assembly allows for controlled extension and retraction of the display.
