Abstract: ABSTRACT Flexible Multidirectional Piezoelectric Wrist-Movement Sensor System With AI/ML-Based Motion Detection The proposed invention describe wearable wrist-motion sensing device (100) and method comprising: electrospun nanofibrous piezoelectric layer configured to be secured to wrist of a user, where the piezoelectric layer comprises polyvinylidene fluoride, copolymer of polyvinylidene fluoride, or combination thereof, and A-site high-entropy perovskite oxide particles dispersed in piezoelectric layer, first and second electrodes disposed on opposite sides of the piezoelectric layer in electrode-film-electrode configuration, and encapsulation layer enclosing piezoelectric layer and first and second electrodes, where mechanical deformation of piezoelectric layer caused by linear wrist motion or circular wrist motion generates self-generated electrical signal at first and second electrodes by intrinsic piezoelectric polarization for detection of wrist motion. The proposed invention delivers a robust, calibration-free, and multidirectional wrist motion sensing solution. Proposed invention further offers a transformative platform for next-generation wearable sensing, human–machine interfaces, healthcare monitoring, and smart IoT applications. FIG.2
