The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a Flavonoid (Chrysin, Baicalein and Oroxylin A) derivatives containing spirooxindole carbamate skeleton structure illustrated in the following scheme. Where in, R1 is hydrogen, R2 is hydrogen, and R3 is chlorine, fluorine, and bromine. Such derivatives showed potential activity against the anti- cancer activity. Further mechanistic evaluation using Western blot revealed that treatment significantly increased the apoptotic marker levels (BAX) and reduced the anti-apoptotic marker levels (BCL2). In addition, it also significantly (p0.001) reduced the cancer stem-like cells (CD133 and CD90) which are the main culprit for metastasis and drug resistance.
