MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511016409 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 25, 2025, for Firewood Packing Device.
Inventors include Dr. Dinesh Kumar; and Dr. Jaivir Singh.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A firewood packing device, comprises of a rectangular base 101 having four telescopic rods 102 attached underneath the base 101 provided with motorized omnidirectional wheels 103 for a locomotion of the base 101, a cylindrical housing 105 is attached downwardly with an upper portion of the frame 104 by means of a telescopic link 106 for enclosing firewood placed on a pallet on the base 101 for packaging by lowering the base 101 onto the firewood, a L-shaped telescopic bar 107 by means of a motorized bearing 110 and provided with a motorized roller 108 containing a spool of a packing sheet 109 for wrapping around the firewood for packing, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 111 to determine firewood on the base 101, a moisture sensor for detecting moisture content in the firewood, and a heating element to heat the firewood for drying the firewood.
