Abstract: A fiber extraction device for sisal leaves, comprising a platform 101 configured to be positioned on a ground surface, a chamber 102 accessed by a user for placing multiple leaves of a sisal plant, a touch interactive display panel 103 enable user to provide input regarding the quantity of sisal fibers to be extracted from leaves, two robotic arms 104 grip a pre-defined quantity of leaves from chamber 102 and position leaves between two vertical blades 105, an imaging unit 106 determines thickness of leaves, two sliding units 107 translate blades 105, two telescopically operated grippers 108 grip sisal leaves and repeatedly pass leaves through blades 105 to obtain sisal fiber from leaves, a robotic gripper 109 grip and position obtained fibers on a motorized roller 114, which rotate to wind fibers on roller 114, an air blower 110 blows hot air towards fibers to facilitate proper drying of fibers.
