Abstract: This female element (100), which provides an internal channel (V100), comprises a main body (110) and an adapter (120) rotatable relative to the main body. The main body provides a distal opening (112) intended to receive a male 10 fitting (10). The adapter comprises a proximal part (121B), connectable to a pipeline, and a distal part (121A) with a tubular portion (124) by which the adapter is fitted into a bore (114) of the main body. A seal support (160), which is received in the internal channel (V100), supports a first seal (191) between the seal support (160) and an inner surface of the tubular portion (124), and a second seal (192), 15 which is intended to ensure a seal between the seal support (160) and the male fitting (10) in the connected position, the seal support (160) being free in rotation relative to the main body (110).
