MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641105507 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on September 02, 2026, for Federated Mining Architecture Employing Homomorphic Encryption For Secure Multi-Node Knowledge Extra.
Inventors include Thanupriya N; Dr. V. Sheeja Kumari; and Dr Ramya Mohan.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The invention discloses a federated mining architecture that enables secure multi-node knowledge extraction without centralized data aggregation. The system employs homomorphic encryption to ensure that all model updates, gradients, or intermediate mining results are encrypted through the entire computation pipeline, thereby preventing disclosure of sensitive data at any stage. Client nOdepefform-lo-cal data mining tasks and transmit only fully-horribmorphically encrypted re-sults to the central server, which aggregates computations without decrypting the underlying raw values. This enables privacy-preserving distributed analytics in highly sensitive environments such as healthcare, finance, IoT infrastructures, and government data systems.
