Inventors include Mnstermann, Tobias; Ramakers, Thomas; Huck, Lisa; Debicki, Lukasz Number; and Ortega, Mathias.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a false twist device (7) for texturing a synthetic thread (30), comprising a plurality of friction discs (101-109) which are each rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation (110, 120, 140) in predetermined friction groups (G1-G3), wherein each group (G1-G3) is arranged at least partially overlapping the other groups in the thread running direction (FD), such that each friction disc (101, 109) of a group is engaging with the thread to be textured one after another with a predetermined peripheral section in the thread running direction. Each friction disc (101, 109) can be rotated individually with a predetermined surface speed. The invention also relates to an associated method and an associated texturing device for texturing a synthetic thread (30) with the false twist device (7).
