Abstract: ABSTRACT A mobile-based distributed emergency broadcast system and method for industrial facilities enables any enrolled worker to trigger a factory-wide emergency alert from their personal smartphone. A worker mobile application (WMA) installed on personal smartphones registers devices to a factory tenant using a simple alphanumeric join code. Upon alert initiation by any registered worker, a cloud backend server (CBS) publishes an Alert Broadcast Message via a push-notification broadcast service (PNBS) to all devices registered under the same factory tenant, delivering a full-screen alarm display, sustained haptic vibration, and alarm tone to every enrolled device within three seconds, regardless of device state or foreground application. The system implements strict multi- tenant isolation ensuring alerts from one factory cannot reach devices of another. A two-step confirmation safeguard prevents accidental activation. An administrative control interface (ACI) provides real-time alert monitoring, zone management, and exportable compliance audit reports. The system requires no dedicated hardware, no corporate credentials, and operates on Android and iOS platforms, making it deployable in industrial facilities of any size.
