Abstract: ABSTRACT FACILITATING COHERENT JOINT TRANSMISSION PHASE OFFSET CALIBRATION WITH TIME-DOMAIN AVERAGING Described are approaches for Coherent Joint Transmission (CJT) phase offset (PO) calibration with time-domain averaging in time division duplex (TDD) systems. UE can obtain reference signal (RS) pairing information indicative of pairings of uplink (UL) RSs transmitted by UE during a first measurement period with downlink (DL) RS received by UE from a first and second Transmit Receive Point (TRP) of a radio access network (RAN) during the first measurement period and a second pairing of a second UL RS transmitted by UE during a second measurement period with DL RS received by UE from the first and second TRPs during the second measurement period. UE can determine channel state information (CSI) for DL RS from the second TRP over time relative to DL RS from the first TRP during the same time. UE can average channel phase values for each TRP or channel phase offset values between the TRPs.
