Abstract: The increasing demand for clean and efficient energy storage devices has created interest in developing supercapacitors using low-cost and eco-friendly materials. In this project, a supercapacitor device is fabricated using waste leaves and stems of Coriandrum sativum (coriander plant) as a sustainable carbon source. The collected leaves and stems are processed and converted into a carbon-based electrode material suitable for energy storage applications. The prepared material is used to fabricate the supercapacitor, and its electrochemical performance is studied through parameters such as capacitance, charge-discharge behaviour, and energy storage capability. Using coriander plant waste helps to reduce agricultural waste and provides a simple and economical approach for preparing electrode materials. The study aims to show that naturally available biomass waste can be converted into useful energy-storage materials. The developed supercapacitor can have potential applications in low- power electronic devices and other energy storage systems. This work also supports the use of renewable and waste-derived materials for developing more sustainable energy storage technologies.
