Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION: The present invention relates to the green synthesis of a SrO-ZnO-ZrOa ternary nanocomposite using Cassia fistula flower extract as a natural reducing and stabilising agent The synthesised material exhibits enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of organic pollutants and dyes present in industrial wastewater and demonstrates significant antibacterial properties against pathogenic microorganisms. The synergistic interaction between SrO, ZnO, and ZrO? effectively improves charge carrier separation, suppresses electronhole recombination, enhances surface area, and increases overall catalytic efficiency. This ternary nanocomposite provides a cost-effective, reusable, and eco-friendly dual-functional solution for industrial wastewater treatment and antibacterial applications.
