MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641064695 A) filed by Dr. S. Mohandoss; M. Swetha; and Rajalakshmi Engineering College on May 22, 2026, for Fabrication Of Sro-Zno-Rgo Composite Via Green Synthesis For Wastewater Treatment.
Inventors include Dr. S. Mohandoss; and M. Swetha.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the green synthesis of a SrO-ZnO-rGO nanocomposite using plant extract as a reducing agent. The synthesized material exhibits enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of organic dyes and significant antibacterial properties. The synergistic interaction between SrO, ZnO. and rGO improves charge separation, increases surface area, and enhances catalytic efficiency. This nanocomposite provides a sustainable and eco-friendly solution for waste water treatment applications.
