Inventor includes Lavanya M.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: Retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma are among the leading causes of vision impairment and blindness worldwide. Accurate diagnosis is crucial for timely intervention and effective treatment. This study proposes EYESIGHT Al, an intelligent deep neural network-based framework designed to detect and classify various retinal diseases through comprehensive analysis of fundus images. The system leverages advanced convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for automated feature extraction and disease classification, ensuring high precision and reliability in clinical decision support. Fundus images are pre-processed to enhance contrast and suppress noise before being analyzed by the model for pathological features. The framework is integrated with a Django- based web interface for easy deployment and interaction with ophthalmologists and medical professionals. Experimental results on benchmark retinal image datasets demonstrate the system's robustness and accuracy, highlighting its potential for aiding early screening and diagnosis in realworld clinical settings.
