Abstract: An extrusion line tube processing apparatus (100) includes a water tank (102) configured to receive and cool a tube extruded from an extrusion unit (108), a haul-off unit (104) disposed downstream along a tube path and configured to receive and advance the tube, and a tube cutting apparatus (106) disposed downstream of the haul- off unit (104). The tube cutting apparatus (106) includes a belt puller (202) having a pair of puller belts (204), a first pneumatic jaw (206) and a second pneumatic jaw (208), and a rotary cutter (212) positioned between the first pneumatic jaw (206) and the second pneumatic jaw (208). The puller belts (204) advance the tube to a predetermined cut length and stop, whereupon the first pneumatic jaw (206) and the second pneumatic jaw (208) close concurrently to clamp the tube for cutting by the rotary cutter (212).
