Abstract: The present application relates to an extended-range vehicle body and a manufacturing method therefor. The vehicle body comprises a front compartment assembly, a floor assembly, and a range extender assembly. The front compartment assembly is provided with a first mounting and a second mounting. The floor assembly comprises a central tunnel; the central tunnel is provided with a third mounting; and the third mounting is spaced apart from the first mounting and the second mounting in both front-rear and up-down directions. A floor assembly blank is subjected to drawing forming to form a floor body and the central tunnel, and material-storage protrusions are formed on the central tunnel; the floor blank is subjected to shaping processing; and the arc length of each material-storage protrusion is equal to the arc length of a corresponding curved corner. By means of the structure and the manufacturing method, the assembly positional tolerance is reduced to within 2 mm, the amplitude of the range extender assembly during driving is reduced, the vehicle failure rate is reduced by 20%, and noise is reduced by 3 dB. The range extender assembly manufactured by means of the method can be adapted to multiple vehicle models; the utilization rate of the interior space of a vehicle is increased; the passenger compartment space is increased by 170 mm; the system modal frequency is increased to 316 Hz; and the support strength of the range extender assembly is increased by 30%.
