Abstract: ABSTRACT EXPLAINABLE GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM WITH AMBIENT MULTI-SENSORY COMPANION DEVICE FOR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT A system for emotional expression and cognitive relief is disclosed. A multimodal client interface (110) receives text, speech, facial or sign-language input. A sequential pipeline (130) first applies ordered regular-expression tiers (131); upon a high or critical classification a pre-authored response is returned and the generative layer (136) is never invoked. Otherwise, a scorer (133) encodes the input into a 384-dimensional vector, compares it against the six most recent stored vectors, and derives a normalised rumination score, from which an intervention level (134) is selected. A role engine (135) selects a relational role by an epsilon-greedy policy and updates per-user weights from an observed reward. A state vector is transmitted over a local network to an ambient companion device (200), which simultaneously actuates a light emitter (210), a haptic actuator (220) and an audio subsystem (230), and whose capacitive sensor (240) affords non-verbal distress signalling by tap count.
