Abstract: ABSTRACT MilkBiz Manager is a mobile-based application aimed at enabling milk vendors to manage their daily milk collection and selling activities in an easy and efficient way. Many milk vendors in rural and semi-urban areas continue to capture the quantity of milk, details of the farmers, and consumers in notebooks, which is the source of numerous errors, missing entries, and confusion at the end of the month. MilkBiz Manager addresses these challenges by providing a simple and easy to use digital platform where vendors can record milk collected, track milk sold, and automatically calculate the daily and monthly profits associated with their operations. The application allows the user to input information by text entry, voice-based entry, or offline when internet connectivity is an issue, so it can be fully functional in more rural contexts. One of the key features of MilkBiz Manager is its automated intelligent calculation system. Milk vendors are regularly challenged with rate fluctuations, daily totals, and monthly settlement questions. MilkBiz Manager automates this process and ultimately calculates the amount due to farmers, the amount income received from buyers, and the total profit after expenses. This allows vendors to avoid manual errors and also to have clear information regarding their business metrics. The application also has the potential to be very organized for the users and has downloadable reports at the end of each month, which speeds up the process of settlements with farmers. Perhaps another feature of MilkBiz Manager is its ease of access. The platform is available in a regional language as well (i.e., Tamil, Telugu, and/or Kannada) and addresses proposed concerns for users with limited entry capabilities in the language.
