Abstract: ABSTRACT EXHAUST SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE The invention relates to an exhaust system (100) for a twin-cylinder engine, specifically designed for two- wheelers equipped with a V-type twin-cylinder engine (18) comprising a first engine (18a) and a second engine (18b) connected to their respective exhaust systems. The first exhaust system (102) includes a first front pipe (104) connected to the first engine (18a), followed by a first tapered pipe (106) extending downstream from the first front pipe (104). The first muffler device (108) houses a first catalyst (110) and a spaced second catalyst (112) arranged axially. A first exhaust gas sensor (114) is mounted on the first muffler device (108) via a first external locally depressed patch element (116), positioned between the first and second catalysts respectively (110, 112). This arrangement allows the sensor to monitor the exhaust gas state at a position upstream of the second catalyst (112).
