Abstract: EXHAUST CONDENSATE DRAINAGE SYSTEM The present disclosure discloses, an exhaust system (100) for a vehicle. The exhaust system includes a muffler (1) and a condensate drainage device (2). The condensate drainage device (2) has a housing (23) that is filled with material that absorbs water. The housing (23) is configured with an inlet (22) to receive the liquefied substances, and an outlet (24) to drain out the water content. The housing (23) may has any shape to suit the particular requirements in order to accommodate water absorbing material. The present invention provides a passive, mechanically robust, and exhaust-flow- independent condensate drainage system for vehicle muffler which effectively remove accumulated condensate from the muffler while preventing exhaust gas leakage and abnormal noise generation.
