Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent, web-based Event Management and Room Booking System designed specifically for the operational requirements of academic institutions. The system comprises a user authentication module with role-based access control, an event management module, an automated time-slot generation engine, a facility booking request module, a validation engine, an approval workflow module, a booking management module, a participant registration module, and a centralized relational database. The validation engine detects scheduling conflicts by verifying existing bookings, institutional timetables, and building operating hours, while transaction control prevents duplicate room allocation during concurrent booking requests. The system supports single-day, multi-day, and overnight events, enables prioritized venue selection and independent slot-wise room assignment, and provides automated notifications to stakeholders. The invention improves scheduling accuracy, reduces administrative workload, enhances resource utilization, and ensures transparent, secure, and efficient event and facility management within educational institutions.
