Abstract: ABSTRACT [0036] Argentum metallicum, a homeopathic preparation derived from metallic silver, has been traditionally employed in the management of various neurological, musculoskeletal, and respiratory conditions. This thesis explores the pharmacodynamic properties, therapeutic applications, and clinical relevance of Argentum metallicum within the framework of homeopathic principles. Emphasis is placed on its symptomatology, including its characteristic action on the larynx, joints, and nervous system, as documented in classical materia medica and repertories. [0037] The integrates a comprehensive review of historical literature with contemporary perspectives on homeopathic drug proving and clinical usage. Additionally, it evaluates the potential mechanisms underlying its action, considering hypotheses such as nano-structural activity and individualized patient response. Case studies and clinical observations are analysed to assess its efficacy in conditions such as hoarseness, joint pain, and neurodegenerative symptoms, highlighting the individualized approach central to homeopathy. Argentum metallicum remains a significant remedy in homeopathic practice, with promising applications that warrant deeper scientific exploration. This thesis contributes to bridging the gap between classical homeopathic knowledge and modern research methodologies.
