Inventors include Surya Rajeswaran R; Mohammed Ibrahim Aslam; Lava Kishore; Jaiwin Raj; and Dr. R. Shankari.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The project is about creating a smart meter using Arduino to understand how electricity is being consumed in a simple way. In this project, voltage and current sensors are being used to understand how much power is being consumed. This is being processed through Arduino. Then the values are being shown through a display so that the user can understand how much power is being consumed at a given time. The idea behind this project is to create something useful and simple to handle without making it too complicated. This project can also be extended to monitor the usage of power from a remote location, making it more useful than other simple meters. By understanding the usage of power at regular intervals, people can avoid unnecessary power wastage. This project is simple to understand and can be utilized for simple purposes.
