MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641109230 A) filed by Hariharan Srinivasan on September 11, 2026, for Escalated Safety Notification (esn) For Non-Crash Events With Adas Safe-Stop.
Inventor includes Hariharan Srinivasan.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle safety event escalation system for persistent non-crash safety events. The system detects a safety-related event, evaluates its persistence and vehicle operating parameters, and applies a vehicle-specific or jurisdiction-specific policy to determine an escalation level. Escalation may include an in-cabin warning, driver acknowledgement and countdown, owner or fleet notification, and authorized control-room or authority notification, Traffic fine management. A telematics module selectively transmits a minimal event dataset rather than continuously transmitting vehicle operational data. For selected safety-critical persistent events, an ADAS-enabled vehicle safety control module initiates a controlled safe-stop operation and may restrict resumption of normal vehicle operation until the event is verified as resolved. The framework is applicable to multiple vehicle types and safety-related conditions including door-ajar, overspeed, seatbelt, drowsiness, suspected impairment, and other regulatory or vehicle safety events.
