Abstract: An ergonomic wound management device, comprising a multi-layered flexible patch framework 101 configured to be positioned over a wound, multiple micro-suction elements 102 to secure the patch framework 101 to the skin surface, a sensor suite comprises a pH sensor 103 for acidity and alkalinity monitoring, a temperature sensor 104 for thermal variation detection, an electrochemical impedance sensor 105 for tissue condition assessment, a wound mapping and assessment module to acquire the dimensional and chemical specifications of the wound tissue, a microfluidic sampling channel 109 to guide interstitial wound fluid through capillary action enabling biochemical sensing via the sensor suite, a drug delivery unit to controllably deliver therapeutic agents to the infected area, a lubricating agent storage micro- reservoir 113 with a network of micro- release channels 114 to controllably release the lubricating agent onto the skin surface to enable gradual patch detachment.
