The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: Ergonomic Planar Desk Mat with Integrated 90 Degree V-Groove Segmented Airflow Channels Abstract: The present invention relates to an ergonomic planar desk mat for supporting a portable computing device. The mat comprises a flexible planar base substrate (100), a distal raised rail region (102) having a plurality of trapezoidal support segments (104), and symmetrical 90-degree V-shaped grooves (106) separating adjacent support segments. Each support segment includes a planar top support plateau (104a) configured to engage rear support feet of a portable computing device and elevate a rear portion thereof to establish a passive under-chassis air gap. The V-shaped grooves provide airflow passages through the raised rail while simultaneously providing angular clearance between adjacent support segments during longitudinal rolling of the mat. A continuous flexible web (112) beneath the grooves maintains structural continuity. In a preferred embodiment, the mat has a 1000 mm by 400 mm configuration, approximately 25 mm raised rail width, 25 mm support-segment pitch, 17 mm support plateau width, 4 mm V-groove depth and 8 mm groove opening. The arrangement combines ergonomic laptop support, passive ventilation, a substantially flat working surface and transportable rollability in a substantially unitary flexible structure.
