Abstract: Disclosed is an ergonomic grip strengthening device comprising a rigid base member with a planar lower support surface and an upward-facing support surface defining a recessed circular groove. A viscoelastic foam compression body comprises a lower retention portion received within the recessed circular groove and fixed to the rigid base member through an adhesive bonding interface, and an exposed compression portion extending above the upward-facing support surface. Concentric grip-reach target zones are defined on an upper surface of the exposed compression portion. A peripheral wall of the recessed circular groove opposes lateral displacement of the viscoelastic foam compression body during downward hand compression while permitting deformation of the exposed compression portion toward the rigid base member. The rigid base member beneath the viscoelastic foam compression body provides a tactile bottom-out reference upon compression, thereby enabling stable, repeatable downward hand exercise with observable compression reach.
