Abstract: Abstract The Ergolift system is an automated monitor height-adjustment device designed to enhance ergonomic comfort and reduce musculoskeletal strain among computer users. The invention features a vertically movable rectangular lift housing that raises or lowers the monitor based on user-selected height values entered through an integrated digital control panel. Instead of relying on manual lifting or telescopic mechanisms, the entire rectangular block moves smoothly along a guided vertical path using a motorized drive system controlled by a microcontroller. Users can input an exact height in centimetres or select from preset ergonomic modes, allowing for precise and personalised monitor positioning for various working postures. Height sensors continuously provide feedback to ensure accurate adjustment while built-in safety mechanisms prevent over-movement, obstruction or instability. By providing automated, accurate and effortless height control the Ergolift system significantly improves posture, enhances workplace ergonomics and accommodates multiple users in shared environments.
