Abstract: ABSTRACT EQUISOLE The present invention relates to an adaptive foot positioning mat for biofeedback-assisted balance support during static standing. The device incorporates plantar pressure sensors positioned beneath heel, midfoot, and toe regions of both feet and a control unit configured to detect pressure asymmetry. Upon detection of imbalance, the system provides real-time multisensory feedback through visual indicators, auditory alerts, and vibrotactile stimulation to assist posture correction. Feedback is automatically withdrawn when balanced pressure distribution is achieved, thereby reinforcing correct standing posture through a closed-loop biofeedback mechanism. The invention is portable, rechargeable, and suitable for physiotherapy clinics, rehabilitation centers, geriatric care facilities, and supervised home care environments. The system enhances postural awareness, improves balance support, reduces fall risk, and enables objective monitoring of rehabilitation progress.
