The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A system and method for paediatric epilepsy management are disclosed. The system acquires multichannel paediatric EEG signals and decomposes them using a Slantlet Transform to obtain hierarchical approximation and detail coefficients, which are flattened into a feature vector. A spiking neural network comprising leaky integrate-and-fire neurons classifies the feature vector as seizure or non-seizure. The system further comprises a structured Ayurvedic knowledge base encoding Apasmara dosha classifications, Medhya Rasayana herbal protocols, Panchakarma procedures and age-stratified guidance. An agentic workflow receives caregiver queries through an instant messaging interface, retrieves session memory, detects emergency indicators, and injects the biomedical classification together with Ayurvedic context into a large language model. A deterministic safety guardrail verifies that an antiepileptic medication disclaimer is present in every response and appends it when absent. Emergency indicators such as prolonged seizure or absence of breathing trigger emergency guidance before inference. Responses are delivered in English, Hindi or Bengali as a structured five-part output, providing accurate, low-cost and clinically safe guidance to caregivers in resource-limited settings.
