The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: In this invention, an environmental-acoustic monitoring system for early detection of asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) exacerbations is disclosed, wherein multimodal data including environmental parameters such as Air Quality Index (AQI), particulate matter levels, humidity, temperature, geographic location data, respiratory acoustic signals including cough and wheeze patterns, and patient medical records are continuously collected through sensors and mobile devices; the collected data is preprocessed using noise reduction, time-series alignment, and feature extraction techniques and analyzed through machine learning and deep learning models deployed on a cloud-based platform; the system performs data fusion to integrate environmental exposure parameters with acoustic biomarkers and historical health information to generate predictive risk scores, and a decision engine evaluates predefined thresholds to identify early signs of exacerbations and transmit real-time alerts and personalized health recommendations to a patient mobile application and healthcare provider dashboard, while supporting adaptive model retraining using accumulated patient-specific data to enhance personalization, predictive accuracy, and proactive respiratory disease management. 5 Claims & 1 Figure.
