Abstract: Apparatuses and methods to enhance Logical Channel Prioritization (LCP) procedure for sidelink (SL) operation in FR2 with beamformed transmission/reception as well as for SL operation with carrier aggregation (CA) are disclosed. The apparatus includes means for determining, for each of a plurality of receiving apparatuses, whether a time resource to be used for a sidelink (SL) transmission is expected to be monitored with a suitable beam (b1, c4, d1) and/or carrier by a receiver of each receiving apparatus; wherein one or more receive beams (b1, c4, d1) and/or carriers of the plurality of receiving apparatuses are determined as being desirable or acceptable for receiving the SL transmissions based on a received signal strength (RSRP) or received signal quality (RSRQ); and means for selecting a destination for the SL transmission based on said determining, the destination comprising at least one receiving apparatus of the plurality of receiving apparatuses.
