Abstract: An enhanced gripping assistive device, comprises of a C-shaped body 101 developed to be positioned in proximity to an object to be gripped, plurality of plates 102 incorporated within body 101 and integrated with multiple motorized hinges 103 to provide converging/diverging movement to plates 102, a laser projection unit 104 installed on body 101 to guide user in positioning of body 101 over object’s surface, plurality of motorized pop out balls 105 arranged on body 101 to rotate for correcting misalignment, a microphone 106 integrated in body 101 for enabling a user to provide input voice commands for requirement of assistance in gripping the object, an inverted U-shaped elastic handle 107 attached on body 101 that is accessed by user for inserting the user’s palm on body 101, an electromagnetic spring 108 assembled on body 101 for adjusting gripping pressure.
