Abstract: An enhanced climbing assistive device for vertical environments, comprises of a rectangular platform 101 configured to accommodate a user’s foot, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting dimensions of foot, a drawer arrangement 102 for increasing/decreasing dimensions of the platform 101, a pair of C-shaped clamps 103 are arranged on lateral sides of the platform 101, each by means of at least three rods 104 to extend/retract for deploying the clamps 103 upwards, a microphone 105 to provide input voice commands regarding requirement of assistance in maintaining a strong grip over surface, an imaging unit 106 integrated in the platform 101 to detect orientation and tilt of surface, multiple pins 107 with sharp edges arranged on lower portion of the platform 101 to extend/retract for getting deployed to provide gripping over the surface, and a hinge joint for collectively adjusting angle of the platform 101 over the detected tilted surface.
