Abstract: ABSTRACT ENHANCED ARTIFICIAL BEE COLONY SYSTEM FOR MULTI-OBJECTIVE CLOUD TASK SCHEDULING OPTIMIZATION The present invention discloses enhanced artificial bee colony system (100) for multi-objective cloud task scheduling optimization. The system comprises a cloud environment modeling module (110) for modeling heterogeneous virtual machines, s task generation module (120), an opposition-based initialization module (130) that generates both random and mathematically opposite scheduling solutions to double initial population diversity, a composite fitness evaluator (140) combining makespan, energy consumption, SLA violation rate, and load imbalance with weighted normalization, an enhanced ABC optimization engine (150) incorporating employed bee exploitation, onlooker bee selective exploitation, and Levy flight scout bee targeted exploration using Levy stable distribution step sizes with stability index 1.5, and a scheduling output module (160). The system achieves superior SLA compliance among metaheuristics with 21 percent violation rate at medium scale and 20.5 percent lower energy consumption than greedy heuristics at large scale while maintaining competitive makespan performance across problem scales from 50 to 300 tasks.
