The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an energy-recovering pneumatic actuator system 10 comprising a pneumatic cylinder 12, a piston assembly 14 movable within the pneumatic cylinder 12, a piston rod 16, a primary air inlet 18, an exhaust air outlet 20, a recovery conduit 22, an energy storage chamber 24, a control valve assembly 26, a one-way valve 28, and a secondary supply conduit 30. Exhaust air discharged through the exhaust air outlet 20 is directed through the recovery conduit 22 into the energy storage chamber 24 for temporary storage. The control valve assembly 26 selectively directs stored exhaust air from the energy storage chamber 24 through the secondary supply conduit 30 to the pneumatic cylinder 12 during a subsequent actuation cycle. The energy-recovering pneumatic actuator system 10 thereby reduces compressed air consumption and improves pneumatic energy utilization.
