Abstract: ABSTRACT ENERGY-EFFICIENT VIRTUAL MACHINE MIGRATION SYSTEM USING FUZZY LOGIC AND ANT COLONY OPTIMIZATION The present invention discloses an energy efficient virtual machine migration system (100) for cloud computing environments. The system (100) comprises a cloud data center (110) with a plurality of physical hosts (112) running virtual machines (114) executing cloudlet workloads (116), a monitoring module (120) for continuously tracking CPU and memory utilization, and a VM migration policy module (130) operating in two selectable modes: a fuzzy-based migration mode (131) using overload threshold comparison with first-fit selection, and an ACO-based migration mode (132) using migration score computation for VM selection and energy-aware destination host selection with host consolidation capability. An energy calculator module (140) computes total energy consumption using a power model. A performance metrics module (150) computes cost, latency, SLA violation rate and average utilization. A result logging module (160) records migration events and a comparative analysis and graph generator module (170) produces comparative tabular and graphical output. [
