MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541022933 A) filed by Tejas Networks Limited on March 13, 2025, for Energy-Efficient Transmission With Optimized Power Allocation.
Inventor includes Vinod Kumar M.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to an energy-efficient wireless communication method that optimizes data transmission while minimizing power consumption. The method involves dividing a time period into multiple time slots, distributing one or more pulses among these time slots to encode data, and transmitting the encoded data within the designated time period. The pulse distribution is designed to maximize channel capacity while reducing energy usage. The system supports multi-level voltage pulses, allowing pulses to swing from negative to positive voltage levels and include a zero-voltage level. The method may further involve encoding data into a codeword before distributing the pulses, with the codeword mapped to a predefined combination of pulse distributions. A receiver decodes the transmitted information by estimating the codeword based on the received pulse distribution pattern. This approach enhances spectral efficiency, reduces transmission power requirements, and ensures reliable data communication. The invention is particularly suited for next-generation wireless networks, including IoT applications, where power efficiency and optimized signal transmission are critical. Figure 3 (publication).
